saturday, i chilled out. i got up around 9, was out of the house by 10, had breakfast at hirise bakery, went to dado tea to read, bought some beads at beadworks, made some new earrings, went to the gym, dinner at king fung's, holiday party at jeff and arthur's. king fung's was so fun--phillip kept tabs on us, giving good and bad points. at the end of the night, we got certificates--i got certificate of manners. jeff got certificate of KING, and arthur got a picture. the holiday party was so much fun because i got to help decorate!! i haven't been that excited in a really long time...just genuine excitement and relaxation...and really feeling the holiday mood. we put lights up all over the apartment and on the tree. we put ornaments and tinsel up. it was really exciting. drinks were yummy (mint hot chocolate, peppermint patty shots, cider, espresso martinis, and my own concoctions). prathima also came, and was a hit with all the boys, of course. i was so glad the 08s came--i really think they're warming up to me (will and kevin most recently). we're buddies and old friends now (ricky, albert, and shashank were already pretty great to me). yay. anyway, spent the night, then trekked home in the snow (which had fallen that morning) in my heels...at a snail's pace.

sunday, i lazed around with ashley and divya, even though we were all supposed to be doing work. then we left the house around 2:30, as it was still snowing, to go to formaggio's, whole foods, and star. that was fun. whole foods is so much fun--i wanted to buy everything i saw. anyway, we had our holiday potluck. it was amazing. everyone brought really great food, and everyone was super social across friends (like my friends talked to ashley and divya's friends). it was niiice. the snow had fallen, the log was in the fireplace, there was great food, delightful company...

siiiigh. the weekend is over, and i'm dreading the next two weeks. yikes!! 4 papers, 1 reflection to go...
but then, san francisco, here i come!
oh...forgot about the subject of this entry...more on that later. complicated.
